COOKIE POLICY
Last updated: September 2026
neckog.com keeps cookies to a minimum.
1. Strictly Necessary
- Session cookies for signing in to your account (httpOnly).
- Local storage for your shopping cart contents (stays on your device).
- First-party attribution local storage remembers the first and most recent campaign tags that brought this browser to our site for up to 7 days, so a later cart, inquiry or order can be connected to that visit. It contains campaign/referrer labels, not your name, email or phone, and remains active as part of our first-party measurement even when optional Meta/Google browser tracking is off. Browsers opened with our internal QA link may also retain an internal-testing marker until that marker is cleared.
- Consent preference cookie to remember whether this browser allows analytics/advertising cookies. A transient same-site browser signal applies a change to other open neckog.com tabs and is not retained as a second preference store.
2. Analytics
Our first-party analytics are cookieless and pseudonymous, not anonymous or aggregate-only. They retain event- and visit-level details such as path and time, active duration, approximate city/country, device/browser/operating system, referring host and campaign tags, linked by a stable salted visitor hash. The raw IP address is discarded and not stored; the retention period is 180 days, after which older records are automatically pruned. Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion measurement and Meta Pixel may set identifiers only when this browser's regional setting allows third-party analytics: in the United States they are on by default unless you turn them off; in other or unknown regions they stay off until you turn them on.
3. Payments
Stripe may set cookies on the payment step for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.
4. Managing Cookies
The control above changes this browser immediately and clears accessible Meta/Google identifier cookies when turned off. It does not erase the short-lived first-party campaign attribution described above; clearing this site's local storage in your browser removes it. You can also delete or block cookies in browser settings; necessary cookies are required for sign-in and checkout to work.
This browser control is different from an identity-linked Meta suppression. If you submit an inquiry while explicitly set to essential-only, or ask support to suppress an order/inquiry, the matching email/phone is placed on our durable Meta suppression list. Turning browser analytics on later does not remove that durable opt-out. See our Privacy Policy, or contact contact@neckog.com to apply, correct or release it.
