What is a polyurethane resin casting machine?

It's a machine that automatically meters, mixes, and dispenses two-part (Part A + Part B) casting materials like polyurethane into your mold — replacing manual cups, scales, and hand-mixing.

Is Flovv a resin casting machine?

Yes. Flovv is an automated resin casting system built to cast two-part polyurethane and resin parts consistently, with far less manual work than traditional casting.

Can Flovv cast polyurethane?

Yes — polyurethane (rigid and flexible) is Flovv's core material. It's designed for two-part PU casting and foams.

Can Flovv cast silicone?

Does Flovv eliminate degassing?

For most casts, Flovv's metered, in-line mixing greatly reduces trapped air, so a separate vacuum-degassing step usually isn't needed. Highly bubble-sensitive parts may still benefit from degassing.

Is Flovv for mass production?

Flovv is built for low-to-medium volume manufacturing, prototyping, and small-batch production — not high-volume injection molding.

Is Flovv for low-volume manufacturing?

Yes. That's exactly what it's for: repeatable small-batch and low-to-medium volume casting without industrial-scale equipment.

Is Flovv an alternative to vacuum casting?

For many low-volume polyurethane parts, yes — Flovv automates metering and mixing without a full vacuum-casting setup. The best fit depends on your part and material.

Does Flovv work with two-part materials?

Yes. Flovv is purpose-built for two-part (A:B) reactive systems, metering both components at a precise ratio.

Can Flovv replace manual mixing and pouring?

Yes — that's the point. Flovv automates the measure-mix-pour steps that are usually done by hand.

What materials are not supported?

Flovv is for two-part reactive casting materials. Single-part materials, filaments, and powders for 3D printing are not supported. Ask us about your specific system.

Is Flovv a 3D printer?

No. Flovv is a resin casting machine. It works alongside molds (and can complement a 3D-printing workflow) but it is not an FDM/SLA 3D printer.
